Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ's sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me;Romans 15:30.Paul is not ashamed to ask for prayer, to have protection from those in Jerusalem who do not believe in Christ. He asks for believers' spiritual assistance in sharing the Gospel of Christ. Prayer is how we communicate with God. It is not so much getting what we pray for, but submitting to what God wants.Prayer brings many things; first, it is a connection with God. It brings faith, comfort, power, guidance, healing, and forgiveness.You cannot pray unless you believe someone is listening. And when you have that faith, you will never experience being alone.Christ promised He would never leave or forsake us. He knows everything about us and loves us to death.Prayer is more than asking; it can be a time to thank, a time to listen.Prayer is how we stay renewed each day in Christ. If you do not know how, go somewhere quiet and ask the Holy Ghost for help. He is there to help and direct your spiritual journey. Amen.
