And be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God.Romans 12:2.Paul gives a simple sentence packed with wisdom.We are not to conform to this world and its ungodly patterns. We are to be transformed. This word in Greek we get metamorphos. It is to change a thing into a different thing, like a caterpillar changes into a butterfly. The butterfly can never be a caterpillar ever again.And a Christian can never be part Christ and part worldly.If there is no change in us, who are we fooling as if God could be deceived?The body does what the mind says, so the mind must be renewed by the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost renews, renovates, and restores the mind to a better condition to serve Christ, like when we read the Bible.To prove what is good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God.This proof will show on the outside, in conversation, actions, and by who we let into our inner circle.
