The Holy Spirit - Our Helper, Our Closest Friend.
Jesus didn’t leave us alone—He sent us a Helper.
“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.”
—John 14:26
The Holy Spirit is not a force. He is a person. He is God living in us guiding, comforting, teaching, and empowering us to live like Christ.
Kathryn Kuhlman once said:
> “The Holy Spirit is more real to me than any human being.”
She knew Him intimately. She would weep in His presence, pause mid-sermon to honor Him, and constantly remind us:
> “Don’t grieve the Holy Spirit. He is all I have.”
We often look for strength from people or places, but the strength we truly need is found in the Spirit of God. He is the One who brings conviction, clarity, courage, and comfort.
“Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness…”
Romans 8:26
Kathryn taught that the key to her ministry wasn’t talent or charisma it was surrender.
“I had nothing. I was nothing. But I gave Him everything.”
If you long to walk in the power and presence of God, begin with the Helper.
Speak to Him.
Invite Him.
Yield to Him.
He is not distant.
He is here.
And He longs to fill every empty place in your life with the glory of Jesus.
