3. For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. Romans 4:3. Seven times from Genesis to Hebrews, it is mentioned that Abraham the friend of God believed the Lord and it was counted as righteousness to him. This righteousness or right standing with God, meaning Abraham was justified before God, because he believed being 100 years old that Sarah would have a son. And he would be a father of a multitude. Now concerning us as we believe Christ as Savior, King, Lord, we are covered in Christ's righteousness, we are accepted by God. We are blessed are iniquities are forgiven, are sins are covered. We are forever seen by God as not guilty, heirs of Christ's kingdom. Because Christ was delivered up as a sacrifice for our offenses, and raised from death for our justification. Amen, Let it be so.
