2. I know that thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be withholden from thee.3. Who is he the hideth counsel without knowledge? therefore have I uttered that I understood not; things too wonderful for me, which I knew not.Job 42:2-3. We conclude the book of Job. We have no information on why Job suffered at the hands of Satan. God started by bragging about the goodness of Job, and allowed Satan to afflict Job but restricted him from taking his life. Job's, persistence on his innocence has God appear to him asking questions only God could answer. Job's answers, with today's verses. Job says to God, I have heard of You, by things told to me. But now my eyes see You. Now the character of the Almighty is revealed, Satan could not bring Job to curse God. And the Lord changed Job's situation, healing him, and giving Job twice the amount that Satan had robbed from him. What the Lord did for Job, He will do for us. There is no greater gift than the salvation of Christ, who died for our sins. And was beaten. For by His stripes we are healed. Amen.
