1. Wisdom hath built her house, she hath hewn out her pillars:2. She hath killed her beasts; she hath mingled her wine; she hath also furnished her table. Proverb 9:1-2. Solomon describes Wisdom as a house built that contains blessings and benefits. Wisdom cries out to the simple ones, turn in here and learn. Wisdom was with Christ when He created all things seen and unseen. Christ in human form is the house built, and the seven pillars, the seven gifts of the Spirit, which Christ possesses without measure. The beast that is slaughtered is nothing less than Christ on the cross. The mingled wine, the furnished table, the Lord's supper, Christ ate with His disciples, the night He was betrayed. Only Almighty God can speak the end of a matter before it begins. The Gospel message of salvation through Christ is not difficult to understand, because children can understand the meaning. The invitation is made to all. Yet few answer. Christ is familiar with where Satan is destined to go. Christ gave His life to save us from that destruction. Amen.
