20. Whence then cometh wisdom? and where is the place of understanding?21. Seeing it is hid from the eyes of all living, and kept close from the fowls of the air.Job 28:20-21. Job, despite his suffering displays God's character in this short parable. Job revealed that there are places on this earth that no animal or man has traveled. Man has found gold and silver in the earth. But it could not purchase wisdom or understanding. Job says, God knows the place of wisdom and understanding God used it to create the heavens and the earth. Death and destruction know the fame of it, but do not possess it. In verse 28, Job answered where wisdom and understanding come from. Behold, the fear of the LORD, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding. Christ came and paid our debt for sin. Yet much more, He showed us the way we should travel. Trusting in Him to keep us on the narrow path. Obeying His word. Amen.
