Never criticize yourself again...
When you criticize yourself, your efforts to change are bound to fail. Positive transformation begins when you fully accept yourself. Criticism gets you nowhere. Accept yourself as you are, here and now.
1) Stop scaring yourself
Stop terrorizing yourself with your own thoughts. It's a horrible way to live. Deliberately choose a pleasant mental image and immediately replace that scary thought with a feeling of pleasure.
2) Be gentle and patient
Indulge yourself with gentleness and kindness. Be patient with yourself as you master new ways of thinking and break old habits. Treat yourself like the person you love most in the world.
3) Take care of your mind
Self hating is nothing more than hating your own thoughts. Don't hate or hurt yourself because of these thoughts. Love yourself by modifying them with gentleness and kindness.
4) Give yourself compliments
Criticism destroys your mind and inner energy. Compliment and acknowledgement builds them. Congratulate yourself as much as possible Appreciate every little things you do right.
5) Request for support
Find ways to support yourself. Surround yourself with friends and never hesitate to ask for help. True strength also lies in the ability to ask for help when needed. By asking, you teach others how to give.
6) Embrace your shadow side
Recognize that your negativity was created to meet a need. Today you discover new, more positive ways to meet those same needs. So you can lovingly let go of your old negative patterns.
7) Love your body
Learn the basics of nutrition. What foods give your body maximum energy and vitality? Educate yourself on the exercise. What physical activity would bring you pleasure? Treat yourself to some down time. Learn to relax physically and mentally. Love this body, your temple.
π Use a mirror
Often look yourself straight in the eye. Express that feeling of growing love for yourself by looking at you. Talk to your parents while looking at yourself in the mirror. Forgive them as well. At least once a day, say "I love you, I love you just the way you are." "
9) Love yourself, right now!
Don't wait for things to get better, feel better, get a partner, job, or lose weight. Start now and do the best of your ability...
