1. Is there not an appointed time to man upon earth? are not his days also like the days of an hireling? Job 7:1. Job in his suffering, still speaking with wisdom, declares that mankind has an appointed time to enter this world, live, and then there is an appointed time to go from this earth. There is no escape. The wise understand that leaving is not the end. Life is full of hardship and sorrows and this life passes quickly. Yet after the last breath, there is a reward in Christ Jesus, that lasts for eternity. It is a sure promise from Christ, it cannot be stolen. There will be no suffering, no illness, no sadness. Just joy in the Lord Jesus. This will never end! The servant looks for his pay. After the work is completed. The Lord will reward all of His friends whom He gave His life for. We lost one of our pastors last week, he played the music at church. Everyone who knew him could only say he was a man of God. My brother Wayne you will be missed. I know where you are. Amen. π
