Let’s hope Israeli intelligence knows where it is and can take care of it. Iran became a terrorist nation after the Shah was kicked out muslim clerics took over. The weak Jimmy Carter shares some of the blame for this. Iran became poorer because much of the oil-rich country’s money went toward funding their military and terrorist organizations including Hamas, Hezbollah, and Houthis. The Iranian theocracy was hell-bent on wiping Israel off the map. They called the US the ‘great Satan’ and Israel the ‘little Satan.” Attacking the US directly was not a good idea, but they had their proxies murder and kidnap Americans in the Middle East when possible. Mostly, Iran’s minions attacked Israel with terror attacks and missile strikes. This might have gone on in perpetuity had Iran not launched a quest for a nuclear bomb. That bomb was said to be ready for assembly and put on a ballistic missile. Obama and Biden sent Iran billions of dollars to placate them, but that money went toward their expensive nuclear development. Medieval-minded mullahs with high-tech nuclear weapons and an obsession with ‘Death to Israel,’ led to the inevitable: Israel would strike Iran’s nuclear development sites. Many MAGA-minded Trump supporters do not want any US involvement at all. Israel should be able to take care of themselves. The US has been involved in way too many Middle East wars. Trying to bring democracy to Afghanistan was an expensive flop that cost too many American lives. Many of the people there seemed to want the Taliban to tell them what to do. Do the people in Iran want to continue living under religious tyranny? That remains to be seen. As usual, the Democrats vociferously objected to Trump’s action—hypocritically claiming it was unconstitutional. That’s bunk and it deserves a verbal bunkum busting. The Dems had no problem with Obama’s repeated air strikes in the Middle East. Obama and Biden lacked the guts to stop Iran’s nuclear bomb—instead they enabled it. The bullying Iranian muslim clerics have now been knocked down a few pegs. For too long they have been getting away with their reign of terror in the Middle East. The US strike was an impressive display by our very expensive military, but let’s not get carried away. We do not need American troops on the ground to force a regime change in Iran.
