3. But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased.
4. Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.
5. They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not:
6. They have ears, but they hear not: noses have they, but they smell not.
7. They have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat.
8. They that make them are like unto them; so is everyone that trusteth in them.
Psalm 115:3-8 ??
Our God is in the heavens and He has created all things seen, and unseen.
How can the created thing, make a god?
Even made out or precious metals, it is polluted by the touch of men's hands.
The purpose being that man can worship what he created, rebelling against the Almighty.
Christ came as a child, grew into a man, He walked, talked, saw, touched, and at the end, gave Himself, for the salvation of the human race.
What has any idol done, but lead away from truth, and pave a pathway to destruction.
Christ came and loved us even in our worst state, healed, redeemed, forgave, spoke truth, and gave us peace. But He has been refused, cast out of schools, and public places, because people love their sin, more than God. Amen.
