10. Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. Acts 4:10. This is not the same Peter who denied Christ three times. Standing before those who had Christ crucified, he tells them that by the name of Jesus, this man was healed. Adding that Christ was the stone they rejected, but He has now been made the Headstone of the building. And that there is salvation in no one other than Christ. The council commanded them not to speak in the name of Jesus, and they took note that Peter had spent time with Jesus. Peter says, Whether it be right to listen to you instead of God, you judge yourself, for we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard. Let this mind be in you. Amen.
