12. This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. 13. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. 14. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.John 15:12-14. Jesus is coming to the end of His ministry. Jesus tells them after He is gone to love each other like He loved them. Few people will give up their life for another to live. Sometimes you see it on the battlefield. Christ died for sin so that all may live. In some of His last words, Christ is talking about loving others. If you cannot keep this command of loving all the other things you do for Christ are meaningless. 1 John 4:20, if a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? As believers, we are held to a higher standard, for we show our love for Christ in our love for others. Amen.
