The dark night of the soul isn’t just a rough patch. It’s the season when life strips everything away... your identity, your relationships, your purpose, even your sense of self. You start to feel lost, disconnected, like you're watching your life fall apart piece by piece. And in many ways… you are. But not because you're broken... because you're being brought back to your truth.
The best way to handle it isn’t to fight it. Not to fix it or force your way out. It’s to stop running, and finally let yourself feel it. Let the numbness be there. Let the questions come. Let yourself grieve what’s falling away, even if you don’t fully understand why. Cry. Rest. Go silent. Talk to God. Write things you’ve never said out loud. Do whatever helps you stay real... because that’s what this part of the journey demands.
You’re not being punished. You’re being reset. The dark night burns away what’s false so your soul can rise. It’s messy. It’s raw. And it’s one of the most sacred parts of the awakening path. You don’t need to be strong right now... you just need to be honest.
So if you’re in it, know this: you’re not alone. You’re not crazy. You’re not failing. You’re becoming...YOU Slowly, painfully… beautifully.
Let it break what was never truly you... And when you’re ready... let it rebuild you.
