23. And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified.24. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth much fruit. John 12:23-24. Jesus is coming to the end of His time on earth. The religious leaders are seeking how they might kill Him because many believe in Jesus. After all, they saw Him raise Lazarus from the tomb. Jesus is soon to be murdered on the cross. The world will look at this as a humiliating death. Jesus' death will open the doors of heaven to those who believe and obey. He said it was like a seed being buried and then becoming a plant. So His death and resurrection are necessary. For by the death and resurrection of Jesus, every one of Jesus's followers will be raised from death and receive the reward prepared for them before the foundation of the world. Amen.
