23. Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again.24. Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.25. Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet, shall he live:John 11:23-25. Martha believed and understood that her brother Lazarus would be resurrected on the last day. Yet she was not comforted much by her knowing. Jesus spoke to her saying your brother will rise. Meaning the resurrection is in the hands of Christ. By His power, Christ can resurrect who He will. Jesus did not claim to have knowledge or secrets about life and resurrection. Jesus said He is life and resurrection. To know Jesus is to know resurrection and life. To have Jesus is to have resurrection and life. Amen.
