23. And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above; ye are of this world; I am not of this world.24. I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.John 8:23-24. Jesus is insulted by the religious leaders, when He tells them He is leaving and where He is going they can not follow. These insulted Him even more by saying if they could not follow Him, He was going to hell for killing Himself. Jesus explains there are only two destinations after death, heaven or hell. Jesus said He came from heaven. They came from this world of sin like all of mankind. If you do not believe in Jesus as Savior. You will die and you will pay the debt for sin. Which is eternal destruction. Those who believe in Jesus as Savior, will pass from judgment into eternal life. Passing from darkness, into Christ's marvelous light. Christ paid the debt for sin with His own blood. Therefore the redeemed cannot be charged for a debt that has already been paid. Thank you Jesus for your gift of life. Amen.
