7. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
8. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
John 3:7-8.
Jesus explains to a Pharisee unless he is regenerated, born again, he will not see the kingdom of God. To regenerate means to renew or restore something, after it has been damaged or lost. Recreated spiritually reborn, converted.
Only a child of God will enter heaven. There are no immigrants. None may purchase entrance.
Sin is the destructive force that closes heavens gates. There is nothing in this flesh that can redeem itself.
The Spirit of God by a radical conversion to Christ makes you a new creature and the old nature is left behind.
Jesus tells the Pharisee if you look for the wind you will not see it. But you will see what it touches. Blowing leaves, waves on water, swaying trees. But you do not know how it got there or where it went when it left. Such are those who are born again, you can not see the Spirit but you will see that the person is no longer the same. Being born again makes you a citizen of heaven. There are no others allowed, Jesus paid the cost on the cross for your citizenship. Amen.
