This was Treasure Island, a 400 acre island built in a few years with all the infrastructure, replica temples, symmetrical statue laden gardens and a 400 ft tower with 44 bell carillon for the 'Golden Gate Exposition' in 1939. Eve of the war. We found an immaculate world just sitting there. Then we tore it down after displacing the populations and moving them to 'reservations'.
