Charlotte Iserbyt was a senior policy advisor in the U.S. Department of Education during the Reagan administration and later became a whistleblower. Iserbyt authored the book “The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America,” in which she claimed that the U.S. education system was being systematically manipulated to limit critical thinking and promote conformity, ultimately undermining individual freedom and constitutional values.
