I hear a lot of fear related to people believing they're doing things "wrong," or that they're missing out on something; they're afraid they're behind or broken in some way.
But there is no specific timeline.
There are no universal milestones.
There is no "wrong," except to continuously deny your own intuition and try to do or be someone who isn't you.
The beautiful thing about human beings is that even when we experience moments of brokenness, our body immediately begins the work to heal.
We're malleable, and nothing if not ever-changing, though we can't always see the changes happening within us.
But we're constantly evolving.
So if nothing seems to be working, if you feel super stuck and nothing is going the way you want it to, maybe this isn't actually your path.
Maybe it's time to try something completely different.
Maybe it's time to stop forcing what doesn't feel deeply right (no matter how badly you want it or how good it looks on paper).
Do you feel like you can say, "no" when something doesn’t feel right, even if there isn’t a better option immediately available?
Can you trust yourself to sit in the discomfort of waiting? Of not knowing?
Know that when you start embracing all of the seemingly disparate parts of yourself, you won't be able to miss the things, the people, and the opportunities that are meant for you.
And that you won't have to beg, plead, or change parts of who you are to receive them.
What's meant for you will make its way to you.
Keep showing up. Keep getting to know yourself. Stay open and keep listening.
Keep meeting yourself with the love, compassion, patience, and stability you deserve...
