6. And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith.7. And shall not God avenge his own his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?8. I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? Luke 18:6-8. This parable of Jesus is about persistence in prayer. We can't always be on our knees, eyes closed. But our thoughts can understand that God is for us, and nothing can happen without His knowledge. We see a judge who has no reverence for God or man. Who only ruled in the widow's favor because she came continuously before him. The elect of God has His favor. And never lose heart in His ability to protect His own. Seeing He gave His life for them. We must know Jesus as faithful and just. He is not as the unjust judge. Christ is forever faithful. Unless we can pray without becoming discouraged, because our answer did not come immediately, we have not obtained the kind of faith Jesus will be looking for when He returns. Amen.
