So which judge is going to swoop in and take this away..President Trump Authorizes Military Control From California To New MexicoPresident Donald Trump has authorized the military to take control of a 60 foot wide strip of federal land stretching from California to New Mexico to stop illegal migrants and illegal drugs from crossing the Southern Border. Now, instead of crossing into random plots of land, migrants will be crossing into a military installation - with soldiers able to arrest those migrants. Soldiers are using thermal and infrared cameras to watch for the tiniest movements along the border. By creating a military buffer zone that stretches across the U.S.-Mexico border in Arizona, California and New Mexico, it means any migrant crossing into the United States would be trespassing on a military base, therefore allowing active-duty troops to hold them until U.S. Border Patrol agents arrive.
