1. He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.2. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.3. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.4. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. 5. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day.6. Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. Psalm 91:1-6 ?? The secret place of God, His heart, where Christ is manifested. Prepared only for those who accept His invitation, no others can enter. El Shaddai, the all sufficient, the shadow of the Almighty, Christ the Lord, protects from the flaming sword of Justice, that every sinner deserves. Trust in God, as a refuge, fortress, in time of trouble, for all others shall fail. The Lord's refuge, cannot be broken into, and is safe. His fortress cannot be penetrated, His Salvation, is a wall of fire, to your enemies. His covenant is sure, His word pure, His character faithful, His actions are love. The action of the enemy, is to trap you in sin, sin is the worst plague of the heart, the snare, used to trap, the thing trapped might escape with its life, but it leaves behind, parts of itself. Christ has delivered us from these hazards. Covered in Christ, warmed by His love, protected by His Gospel Truth, the cross our shield, from death and hell. Therefore we shall not fear the cold of night, nor the devils that walk about. The judgment, the arrow that flies by day, shall not come near, God's chosen. Pestilence and destruction, are for those who refuse shelter. Amen.
