You’ve been LIED TO about metals in infant formula! The people claiming infant formula is full of toxic metals have literally no idea what they are talking about, and they have no knowledge of mass spec metals analysis. I tested the top brands via ICP-MS in my ISO-accredited laboratory and found NO PROBLEM AT ALL with metals in infant formula, just as I had previously explained. Why? Because infant formula is heavily processed food. And processed food rarely has a metals problem because both the metals and the minerals are all processed out of the food. You’ll see far higher metals in UNPROCESSED foods, which also show much higher levels of minerals, vitamins and other nutrients. That’s why infant formula manufacturers have to add supplemental (cheap) minerals to their products, like calcium carbonate (chalk dust). Because they aren’t using base ingredients that are rich in minerals in the first place. HHS is totally wasting its time trying to order infant formula makers to reduce metals content, because there are virtually no toxic elements in infant formula to begin with. Such actions are nothing but theater, to make you think HHS is doing something useful when it’s actually doing nothing at all. Those “clean food advocates” trying to scare you over this are full of bunk. ZERO lead. ZERO mercury. Near-zero cadmium. Near-zero arsenic. Normal aluminum levels that are common in all foods. No red flags at all. Stop scaring the public about infant formula and focus on protecting kids from TOXIC JABS, for God’s sake!
