26. He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?27. And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself. Luke 10:26-27. A lawyer of Jewish law asks Jesus how he may obtain eternal life. Jesus asks how do you read it in the law. You have read his answer. Jesus says you have answered right now go do it. This eternal life we can have right now it comes from God. We are all dead in sin, Christ brings a quality of life no other can supply. Loving God with everything we are will overflow into our relationship with others. Those close to us, and those that are not. We can not say we love God and hate others that makes us liars. 1 John 4:20-22 How can we love God who we have not seen and hate those we see around us. This is impossible to the unbelieving. But those who submit to Christ and the Spirit will be given perfect directions. And those who follow will become children of the Most High God. And shall share His eternal reward. Amen.
