This is for everybody who still doesn't 'get it' as to what Daylight Savings Time is all about.DST was initially implemented as a wartime measure, particularly during World War I, to conserve energy by maximizing the use of natural daylight and reducing the need for artificial lighting in the evenings. After World War I, it was embraced by agriculture, i.e., farmers and ranchers as a means to allow them to get up earlier, and have more hours in the day with which they could get all their work done AND be able to have time to do their needed business in cities where every business's operating hours were regulated by the clock. (Opening and closing hours.)You're welcome.
