13. And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
14. But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:
Mark 13:13-14.
I have seen many say God has abandoned Israel. But the Gospel of Christ says no.
Verse 13 is to His disciples and all who have converted to Christ. Warning what to expect from the world, and you see it happening now this day.
Verse 14 is to the Jews. This abomination of desolation is the anti-christ present inside the temple. In the time this was written, there were not enough Jews to build a temple. But in 1948, it was a great disappointment to the enemies of Israel that the nation was restored after more than 2,000 years.
For this prophecy of Christ and Daniel to be fulfilled, there must be a temple. The rebuilding of a temple will not honor God, for sacrifice for sin will be reinstated, there is no sacrifice accepted for sin but the blood of Christ.
Christ will return to the Temple Mount and rule for a thousand years, with the converted Jews and the 144,000, 12,000 taken from each tribe of Israel. Christ spoke to us, I will never leave you nor forsake you. Christ will not forsake Israel. Amen.
