This song is the wisdom of what money can not buy.
You can be rich in what you have, in what you do, in what you know, and in your character of who you are.
The psalmist sings of eternal life and what it costs. The psalmist has no fear of death or days of evil, for God is with him, God has always been, and He will continue forever.
Wealth has no power with God. Everything belongs to Him. What have we to offer in this short breath called life.
We have nothing to bargain with to save the soul of a loved one or ourselves.
Christ's blood is the payment for sin, and nothing can be substituted.
The redemption of a soul is a spiritual matter for poor or rich. Only Christ can remove the stain and declare us not guilty.
Christ has redeemed us from the power of the grave and spiritual death. He gave His life, for us, and we are precious in His sight. Amen.
