5. I acknowledge my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.6. For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.Psalm 32:5-6. There is agony in unconfessed sin, spiritual and mental. It will take its toll. The ungodly cares nothing for what the Almighty thinks or does. So, proof that the Almighty cares for you is His hand on your heart. Our covenant God will not let His own remain in habitual or unconfessed sin. To acknowledge our sin to God is to be honest. Opening the door to forgiveness. Confession and repentance will never be ignored by God. With forgiveness comes a pardon that can never be removed. It is a blessing that brings protection and guidance. The sinner surrounded by waves of destruction because of sin is not out of reach of God's everlasting mercy through Christ Jesus who paid the price for every sin, of all who come to Him in truth.
