35. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.36. For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?37. Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?Mark 8:35-36. Such wisdom in such few words. Those who seek the pleasure of this world and reject Christ shall never see the glorious reward Christ the Lord prepared. Yet those who die to this world and to all the evil it contains, and follow in Christ's way, shall share His reward for all eternity. The wise are concerned where they shall go when they die. Fools live for each day, and how short life is, they care not. If we do not share in Christ's death, we shall not share in His resurrection. If you had everything you wanted for 200 years, then spent eternity in hell. You have not chosen well. Who in all creation can bargain for their soul. Seeing it is not yours. Who can pay a higher price than Jesus, who shed His blood so you could be with Him, because He paid the price for all the sins of mankind. Amen.
