The Trump administration is reportedly reviewing Title 42, according to documents.
The policy allows U.S. immigration officials to quickly expel migrants based on the chance that they could spread diseases, like tuberculosis.
Title 42 was activated during Trump's first term at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, and allows officials to turn migrants away before allowing them to claim asylum at the border.
Title 42:
-Allows officials to deport migrants with out letting request asylum
-Allows officials to expel migrants with out any processing
-Labels illegal migrants as public health risks
This is the latest in a string of Executive Orders that Trump has put in place to stop the massive influx of illegal migrants and solve the record setting border crisis that was created during the Biden Administration.
Trump has declared the Border a national emergency, ended all benefits for illegal migrants, revived the Remain in Mexico policy, made deals with Canada and Mexico to secure their respective borders and designated Mexican drug cartels and gangs as terrorist organizations.
Border crossings have dropped significantly since Trump took office, According to Border Czar Tom Homan, and officials are now seeing around 50 migrants a day as opposed to the average of 2,000 a day under Biden - not including got-a-ways
