24. The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:25. The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: 26. The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and gave thee peace. Numbers 6:24-26. The Lord spoke to Moses, saying, in this way, you shall bless the people of God. God loves to bless His people. All blessings come from God. True blessings from God are higher than happiness or wealth. Some are kept by sin, some by greed, idolatry, anger, and bitterness. To be kept by the Lord ensures life, peace, and success. To have the glorious Lord look on you with pleasure is the greatest gift any could have. Showing the tender mercy and care of the Almighty. To lift up one's eyes means they are paying attention to you, and there have been times God has watched over you without you knowing. God the Father blesses and keeps His children. God the Son makes God's face shine on us and brings grace. God, the Holy Ghost communicates God's attention to us and gives us peace. This word peace is Shalom. It means more than the absence of conflict. It is peace in every area of your life. God is the God of peace. Without Christ, there is no peace. Amen.
