British tabloid Daily Mail claims to have obtained a leaked peace plan, allegedly proposed by Trump to end the war in Ukraine. The source is allegedly a Ukrainian media outlet Strana:
➡️ A ceasefire will be achieved by Easter, April 20th.
➡️ Ukraine will not be able to join NATO.
➡️ Ukraine will recognize Russian sovereignty over the territories it controls and withdraw troops from the Kursk region.
➡️ A demilitarized zone will be established. European forces, probably including British ones, will manage the situation without US military involvement.
➡️ The European Union will invest $468 billion in the reconstruction of Ukraine over the next decade.
Negotiation timeline:
➡️ Early February – telephone conversation between Putin and Zelensky.
➡️ End of February, beginning of March – meeting between Putin and Zelensky.
➡️ April 20th – the actual ceasefire comes into force.
➡️ May 9th – disclosure of all agreements, lifting of martial law and mobilization in Ukraine.
➡️ The US will continue to provide security assistance to Ukraine.
➡️ Ukraine will maintain its path to EU membership by 2030.
