12. And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;13. And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a the mighty wind.14. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and Island were moved out of their places.15. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;16. And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:17. For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? Revelation 6:12-17 ?? John in the Spirit, witnesses Jesus, opening the seals of the Book, handed to Him, by the One sitting on the throne. Jesus, was the only one in Heaven, found worthy to unloose the seals. A great earthquake shakes, the heavens, and the earth, the religions of the world are cast down, before Christ. Those who worship the sun, and moon, see them obscured. And all inferior deities, are cast down, like unripe fruit, fallen to the ground. This is a picture of the very end, where the Creator, can move all that has been created, and prepare it for destruction. Now take notice of those of which the verse speaks, men of all walks if life, who refused Christ, and the Gospel, now think they can hide from the Almighty, and as fools, speak to rocks, and mountains, to fall on them, to cover them, because they know not the Son, who would have covered them in His blood to save them. Now when it is to late, and the time of salvation has passed, they become wise, and have knowledge of the Holy One, and His Power, and the wrath of the Lamb. For there shall be a time, for God's wrath, to come forth, and none shall be able stand, who have not the covering of God's Son. Submit now, kiss the Son, for all others, the Rock will fall and crush, and that judgment is final. Come quickly Lord Jesus. Amen.
