6. Remember, O LORD, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses; for they have been ever of old.7. Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness' sake, O LORD. 8. Good and upright is the LORD: therefore will he teach sinners in the way. Psalm 25:6-8. The psalmist recognized that God's mercy and love are displayed in His character, He did not learn them. They have been with Him, from eternity. God's mercy and love are shown when God chooses not to remember our sins. God's forgiveness, mercy, and grace is because of God's goodness we could never earn or bargain for it. We can with assurance approach Christ saying, Lord, I know that I am a great sinner. But you are an even greater Savior. I humbly submit myself to You and ask You to pardon my iniquity. Amen.
