When I lived in Colorado I worked with a guy who was Mexican-American. He was born here. Native born Mexican-Americans don't like wetbacks anymore than we do. He asked me one day if I knew why they were using wetbacks for medical research instead of those little white mice. I told him, "No." He replied, "Because they reproduce faster and you don't get as attached to them."
