O LORD God of hosts, who is a strong LORD like unto thee? or to thy faithfulness round about thee? Psalm 89:6-8 This is a song of Ethan the Ezrahite. Famous for his wisdom, mentioned in 1 Kings 4:31, yet not having the wisdom of Solomon. Ethan reveals that all creation shall praise the glory of God. The heavens, the saints, sons of the mighty. Did not the angels desend from heaven to sing of the birth of Christ. So, who can be compared to God. Who can do His mighty deeds. Who can create, protect, defend, rescue, as He. Who is faithful to His word, and who can keep all His promises. This is why God is to be praised and reverenced. There is none like Him. Yet, Christ, who had never ever sinned, became sin for us, taking the punishment of death and baring it in His own body. There is no other than can do such a loving thing as saving us from what we deserve. Therefore, those who understand who Christ is and why He came shall be rewarded by Christ for all eternity. The magnificence of Christ is shown clearly in His love for us. Amen.
