For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.Revelation 19:1-2 Here is Christ revealed as a conquering Lord. A great multitude of people are saved from the great tribulation, and the 24 elders join in celebration of the fall of the antichrist. Alleluia, borrowed from Hebrew, occurs 4 times in Revelation, God's people rejoice without restraint at the Lord's victory over Babylon. Alleluia is Hebrew for praise the Lord. Now John is witness to Christ's bride the church and the marriage supper of the Lamb. Christ returns to a hostile earth with an army from heaven. There is a great supper prepared. Four suppers are mentioned in Bible. The supper of salvation, the Lord's supper, the marriage supper of the Lamb, the supper of the great God. If you reject the first supper, the second will mean nothing to you, and you will not be present at the supper of the Lamb, but will be present at the fouth supper. Everyone will attend at least one supper, some will eat, and others will be eaten. Satan has been thrown into the bottomless pit, but now the beast and false prophet are thrown alive into the lake of fire. John gives no description of the battle because it is so one-sided, Christ is shown as the victorious Victor. Amen.
