10. And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.11. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of the testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.12. Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.Revelation 12:10-12 John sees Satan cast out of heaven and his followers. John witnesses a joyful declaration in heaven by an unnamed saint about salvation, strength, and the kingdom of God, present in heaven. Satan has been displaced, and the saint declares victory overcoming Satan by Christ's blood and their testimony. Loving Christ more than their own lives. Rejoicing in heaven are all the redeemed in Christ. And the woe to those left on the earth. Satan is coming. He is angry, knowing his time short and that he is defeated. He has gone from glorified to profane. Ezekiel 28:14-16. From having access to heaven, Job 1:12, to being cast down to earth. Revelation 12.From earth he is cast to the bottomless pit, for 1000 years, Revelation 20. From the pit to the lake of fire, Revelation 20. Christ came to redeem mankind from Satan's grasp. Christ totally defeated Satan leaving nothing unfinished. Amen.
