17. But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;18. How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.19. These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit. 20. But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,21. Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. Jude 17-21 I would dare say as I look around this day, I see and hear mockers of Jesus Christ. Walking and living a life of destruction. Making fun of anyone who would live for Christ. They cling to the natural man and all sin. Insensitive to the Spirit of God. These are controlled by their physical senses, refusing to submit to Christ and be rescued. But we have Christ as Lord and Savior. They shall know Him as Judge. We are being led by the Spirit keeping us in harmony with God's love. Yet, we are all personally responsible for our own spiritual growth. It will not just happen, nor will it come from others. We grow on the foundation of the Gospel message. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. And keeping the hope of Christ returning in our hearts strengthens our faith. Amen.
