22. Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:23. Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.24. For all flesh is as grass, and the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: 25. But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.1 Peter 1:22-25 Love is the evidence of salvation. For we are to love as Christ loved us. Loving each believer without relaxing in our duty. In some situations, love is not easy. Yet Christ love for us in suffering and death was more difficult. We are born again, not by things that will decay but by the everlasting word of God revealed to us through the Spirit. Mankind is not so. All are on a ticking clock without the knowledge of when it stops. God's word is true, and all His promises. Lasting forever. This is the Gospel, Peter preached from Christ. This is the same Gospel we hear today. Available to all who seek it. Amen.
