15. For in thee, O LORD, do I hope: thou wilt hear, O LORD my God.
16. For I said, Hear me, least otherwise they should rejoice over me: when my foot slippeth, they magnify themselves against me.
17. For I am ready to halt, and my sorrow is continually before me.
18. For I will declare my iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin.
19. But my enemies are lively, and they are strong: and they that hate me wrongfully are multiplied.
20. They also that render evil for good are my adversaries; because I follow the thing that good is.
21. Forsake me not, O LORD: O my God, be not far from me.
22. Make haste to help me, O LORD my salvation.
Psalm 38:15-22 ??
In the midst of the Palmist, troubles, and distress, he had not forgotten God.
God is his hope, and he trusted, God would hear, meaning answer, him.
Being as us, not yet perfected, we slip, but we are not destroyed.
We are to declare our sin, being sorry, and seek forgiveness.
Following the thing that is good, the Shepherd of our souls.
Being under His protection, we can fear no evil.
For we for ever, are His, bought with blood, so precious, one drop, would remove all sin.
And we are precious in His sight, ever with us.
Christ will not tarry, for those that need His help, He shall come right early, with haste.
For all, the Lord, is our salvation, there is no other, our faith stands in Christ, the Solid Rock. Amen.
