The idea of the soul and spirit evolving from the physical is interesting, makes my brain hurt. How can the timeless or eternal, purported qualities of the soul and spirit, evolve from the finite? By many reports out of body explorers say that the soul, or astral realms, are more real than the physical, and closer to Source. If true, how could the more real evolve from the less real? If reincarnation is true, it implies that there is an organizing factor in the astral or causal body. (soul and spirit). If the evolution you speak of is true, how would this be possible? At the same time your philosophy makes perfect sense in many ways. I might suggest a paradox - that the human race is evolving from the physical to the soul and then to the spirit and at the same time the opposite is true - that we were soul and spirit prior to being physical, sensual beings. This goes along with the belief that we are here to grow, learn, and expand our experience and knowledge/understanding. I recall in Raymond Moody's seminal work, Life After Life, published in 1975, that during the life review the Being of Light only has two requests - Show me what you have learned, and show me how much you have loved.... I love the idea, though, of cherishing our individuality... This goes along with the belief that we are here to grow, learn, and expand our experience and knowledge/understanding..... I believe consciousness is expanding, transcending from a lower density awareness (ego)3D to the more spiritual higher self "knowingness" of our true eternal soul and the realization. That everything is really infinite pure consciousness of one Grand Ordered Design. - GOD...
