A Marine Corp Veteran of over 2 Decades was asked to get off a Delta flight due to this shirt being THREATENING to a few Delta flight crew members. A male flight attendant was saying, 'Ma'am, ma'am.' I looked around, like, 'Who was he talking to?' And it was me. He said, 'You need to get off the plane,' and I was like, 'What did I do?' " Banks told NBC Bay Area. After getting off the plane, Banks said that the flight attendant told her that her shirt — which read "Do not give in to the war within. End veteran suicide" — was "threatening." "I said, 'Are you kidding me?' " she recalled to the outlet. "I'm a Marine Corps vet. I'm going to see my Marine sister. I've been in the Marine Corps for 22 years and worked for the Air Force for 15 years. I'm going to visit her.' He said, 'I don't care about your service, and I don't care about her service. The only way you're going to get back on the plane is if you take it off right now.' " This is all too support Veteran Suicide which is near and dear to my heart and I guarantee so many more. The fact the Delta representatives stated what they said and acted as if this was so threatening to such a difficult and sensitive subject should be terminated and the discretion future employees are given in regards to removing potential customer from planes moving forward need to be re-written and serious training on what is and isn’t threatening. That sure isn’t. If you agree HIT the like 👍… this cannot be allowed to happen.
