20. This gate of the LORD, into which the righteous shall enter.21. I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.22. The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner.23. This is the LORD'S doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.24. This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:20-24 This gate that the righteous shall enter is Christ. He became our righteousness on the cross, and after rising from death, and His ascension to His glory in heaven. There is no other entrance to heaven but Christ. All praise and thanksgiving to Jesus who made a way for us. The religious leaders of the time who had the scriptures telling of Christ the redeemer rejected Him. Christ is the foundation the solid Rock the church is built on. All the redeemed in Christ are amazed and rejoice in the salvation of Christ. This is the work of the Almighty. No human could do what Christ did for us. The day Christ became our punishment for sin. Is the day we can rejoice and be glad. For Christ defeated sin, death, and Satan. Giving us access to heaven where sinners are denied. Amen.
