Being spiritual does not mean one is more protected in life, it just means One is more connected to life. I still get flat tires at inconvenient times, I still get speeding tickets, I still have to wait in line, I still get lied to, get my heart broken and more. That is being human.Because I am spiritual, I can recognize that lessons in these events, I don't let a bad mood effect me. That's what growing spiritually is about. Recognizing a human condition, and finding the spiritual connection to that event in One's life.Spiritualism is an ever deepening commitment, searching for truth and meaning. It's writing new values, it's gaining new insight, it's finding One's path and purpose.I am still human, I still have human thoughts and emotions, I still get angry, selfish and anxious. But I have learned the fine tuning of these emotions, to allow things to grow and change. To accept myself they way I am and to mostly be that love I so desire.I know I am blessed, I am grateful for those blessings and lessons. Without those important ideas, I may be a different person.
