So yeah when you eliminate gas powered everything what'cha gonna do when a disaster hits and your wind and solar electricity generation ability is taken out for hundreds of miles and will take weeks or more to bring back online. And you have banned all gas using generators or anything that uses gas. What will you do? Drive your electric truck a hundred or more miles to the nearest place with power to recharge and drive it back to help only to find the battery needs to be recharged before you are even back to help. How long till your electric chain saw needs to be recharged, no stove or oven, or water from your well without power, no heat and no kerosene for a heater (banned),have some good shoes cause you'll be walking or in the same boat as others trying to help because by the time you get to where you can charge up your car if you can make it there it will need to be recharged if you can make it back. Green energy is a great thing but until you know you've got the full capability to handle these disasters without using gas powered tools or generators all your doing is making yourself FEEL good about saving the planet with talk. Meanwhile when you force a ban on fossil fuel without the full capability to handle these disasters you put people in danger of dying! Let's worry about them too, not just how it makes YOU FEEL.
