6. As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:
7. Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.
8. Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
9. For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.
10. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
Colossians 2:6-10
Paul explains the rule of Christian living. As you received Christ, so live like Him. We cannot perfect in the flesh, what was first begun in the Spirit.
We travel the journey of life following in Christ's steps. But we are also rooted firmly in all His promises in the Gospel message. Building each day the image of Christ in us as revealed by the Spirit of God in us.
Stay alert. Do not be cheated by men or traditions. For none of these can reward with life eternal. All the world can give is death and destruction.
Christ is fully God. He is in no way half God, or half man.
There is no such thing as half a man. And how can you take any part of God out of Christ
Paul calls this a mystery, and it is revealed by the Spirit through faith.
Christ is fully God. The proof is that nothing was created without Him. And fully, man. He died for our sins on the cross.
Since the fullness of God dwells in Christ, we are united in Him by faith.
Christ is head of all principality and power. And we are complete in Him. We need not add anything to His work. Amen.
