5. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:6. Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:7. But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:8. And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. 9. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:Philippines 2:5-9 Paul explains our hope in Christ is because of His humility. The mind of Christ, we must receive by choice. And we must choose to walk in it. This is our amen to a life in Christ. The let it be so. Christ came in the form of man. The very thing He created in His own image He became. He was God before He came, and He remained God when He was here. His humility did not cling to His deity as God. But became obedient to the Father. And made Himself of no reputation. He poured Himself into a bondservant and took on the death of the cross for every sin. And because of this humiliation, God elevated Him up to a place of honor above every name. There is no higher name than Yahweh, and Jesus has that name. So that all shall bow and confess Jesus as Lord of all. Some with joyful faith, and others with resentment and despair. Amen.
